Vegan Brownies

The easiest vegan brownies! Dense & chocolatey, these brownies make the best easy vegan dessert.

Ingredients

Dry Mix

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Wet Mix

  • 1/3 cup vegan butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp apple sauce
  • 3 Tbsp water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325° Fahrenheit. Line a 9"x9" baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix dry ingredients together then add the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool, then lift parchment out of baking dish and cut into squares.
